Surveys such as wage and salary, business conditions, banking, and others as needed by our members, give you important, useful information to compare your company with others in the building supply industry on the Prairies.
The WRLA is continually looking for opportunities that will assist our members. The WRLA has developed a list of job descriptions specific to the building supply industry composed from various sources to assist storeowners and managers.
The CRBSC is recognized in Ottawa as the national and unified voice of the lumber and building materials industry in Canada. By participating actively in the Government Relations initiatives of the CRBSC, the WRLA ensures that the views of its members receive full consideration. With the cost of telecommunications increasing, the WRLA has introduced a very simple design and low cost program with no extra plan fees, subscription fees, extra numbers to dial or contracts to sign.
WRLA sponsors an annual Summer Meeting and two golf tournaments each year. Support is also given to additional tournaments held by other industry related associations.
